The other day, I was driving home after a long day that seemed to stretch on forever. I’ve written about moments like this before, but this one felt different. As I looked up, I noticed clouds shaped like the edge of a mountain, soft and still, with the setting sun resting just above them. The sky held layers of color, warm, quiet, and steady.

In that moment, everything slowed. It reminded me how much bigger life is than the worries we carry. How easily we get pulled into every thought, every pressure, every small detail, until we forget to look up and take in what’s always there.

The untouched sky has a way of putting things back into perspective. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t hold onto anything. It simply exists in its full beauty.
